Qibla Compass

Location Data

Qibla Compass requires access to the device's location in order to calculate:

• the Qibla direction
• the distance to the Kaaba
• the magnetic declination required for compass accuracy

Location access is used only while the application is being used.

The application may store the most recently determined location locally on the user's Wear OS device. This allows the Qibla direction to be displayed more quickly when the application is opened again.

Users can manually request a new location at any time.

Qibla Compass does not request background location access.

Locally Stored Data

The application may store the following information locally on the device:

• last known location
• selected app language
• preference for using cached location on startup

This information is stored locally on the Wear OS device and is not stored on servers operated by Shadowless Studios.

Accounts

Qibla Compass does not require or provide user accounts.

Advertising

Qibla Compass does not contain advertising.

Analytics

Qibla Compass does not currently use third-party analytics services.

Third-Party Services

Qibla Compass uses Google Play services Location APIs to obtain device location information.

Google services may process information according to Google's own privacy policies and terms.

Qibla Compass does not independently transmit the user's location to a Shadowless Studios backend server.

Data Retention

Locally cached location information may be replaced when a new location is obtained.

Users can remove locally stored application data by:

• clearing the app's data through the operating system, or
• uninstalling the app

Children

Qibla Compass is not specifically designed for children.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This privacy policy may be updated if the app's functionality or data practices change.

The "Last updated" date on this page will be changed accordingly.
